Achieving more than you realize

I started 2022 with a new mindset and some real motivational and determination energy. One of my goals was to set myself two new things to try each month. It doesn't matter how big or small these new things are or how random, just as long as two new things a month will be occurring in my life.

Why did I decide to do this? Because 2020 stripped back everything to it's rawness. Although what we had experienced hasn't been entirely real, our emotions and the feelings we have experienced has been. My whole life during that time was put into a completely different level of perspective. I reevaluated what matters most to me, who is most important, I could see where I have held myself back in life, how much time goes by and where I want to succeed and why.

This new found awareness has moved me to genuine raw emotions, and that fight or flight mode has kicked in on more than one occasion. At times I have flighted and at times I have stuck around to fight. I have done my absolute best to keep going and keep pushing on, no matter how many times life felt scary and uncertain. This, is an achievement in itself. If you can relate to any of what I have written here and you are feeling what I am saying, then please stop and give yourself a huge applause, because life has not been easy and is still not the easiest to navigate even now.

After tears, hurt, huge levels of awakening, being pushed to the depths of breaking point and feeling scared and nervous about the future, I am now and have been for a while, fully ready for the new. I want so much newness in my life. I want to open myself up to all the abundance life has to offer. I want to move fearlessly forward and create so much more happier and positive realities. At times when we want something so much and can visualize where we want to be headed, we can often feel frustrated when we are not there yet. This is because we start to focus on lack. We cannot see our manifestations and this makes us doubt. All of the forward steps that have already been achieved have been forgotten and we accidently fall back into the doubt trap.

Reaching the end of January I decided to sit and observe all of the new things I have done this month, expecting to feel even more frustrated with where I am at now. I started to write on my calendar, the things I have done through the month, and then I started to list what was new this month for me. I have 11 things written down for the month of January that were new. They aren't anything grand or huge, they are small points of the new places I went to for food, the new exercise I tried, a couple of goals I set out got accomplished. 11 things! I only wanted two a month and I feel I smashed it. A sense of happiness and proudness started to wave over me and with this feeling of pride and happiness I felt emotional. If I had not made that list I would have continued to felt unhappy with where I am at, because my attention drifts back to what I have not achieved yet rather than what I have. This mindset needs to stop. This goes for you too if you can relate.

Try this for 2022 and see if your mindset starts to perceive your life differently. This new perception will create an abundant energy which in turn will help you to continue flowing forward. Make a goal to try a new food, a new restaurant, a new self help tool, a new mindset, anything, no matter big or small, try this for each month and see if your energy starts to feel more high vibe.

If there is any advice I can finish on to anyone who may be feeling down about where they are at in life so far, it Is to please acknowledge your achievements more. The fact you continue to keep persevering is an achievement in itself so please feel good about that and celebrate it. Success lies in the eyes of the beholder. Without even realizing it you may be achieving so much more than you think you are. I feel it may be time to start celebrating yourself more and run with this energy throughout 2022 **woohoo** !
