Women!!!

How many of us judge our bods on a daily basis?

A few extra pounds maybe went on over Christmas and the pressure and the stress to not “get fat” can be overwhelming.

Why do we do it to ourselves?

I have been on fad diets before, I tried diets where I have removed all carbs and even stressed myself out when I ate a salad because it was meant to be protein only 😂😂

When I think back to that now that is absolutely crazy 😂

There is so much pressure on all of us, not just women to be fair, but all of us to live up to unrealistic expectations that we place on ourselves.

No wonder why people end up with eating disorders.

I have spent the last, 🤔 roughly 4 years I woud say, developing a healthy relationship with food. Now, I just don’t deprive.

If I want cake I eat it, if I want wine I drink it. If I fancy a food or drink blow out I do it, but then balance it out by being healthy beforehand or after. I stress less about times when I may have gained and I don’t feel anymore validated by losing it.

I’m still at times in the process of learning to love my bod, no matter what size or shape it comes in.

So If I’m feeling curvier I just try to embrace the extra curves and own them.

Do I always feel confident about it? No of course not 😂 but I try to own it and embrace it as often as I can. I have learnt, loving your bod is about being grateful for it and aiming to feel sexy and comfortable in your own skin, no matter how it looks.

Wearing tight trousers and a body suit straight after Xmas (recent insta post) would have usually stressed me out, instead I decided to take a mirror selfie boomerang 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

The point I am trying to make here is, so many of us, no matter whether you are a size 6 or a plus size, stress about our bodies, I bet all of us have some hidden body issues that we don’t talk about, but if you can love yourself no matter where you are at physically, this will have much more of a positive effect on how you show up on the outside.
